GREAT STORY | Olympia Mummas (aka the awesome mums of our Junior u10 boys team (and a few good friends) make the grand finals in their first season!Well not the kind of finals you might think but a social league netball final. Playing proudly under the name of Olympia Mummas and turning up every week role modelling to their budding young soccer mad sons who also turned up to cheer their mums each week, just got pipped at the post by a mere 2 points in a grand final against a very seasoned team that could have gone either way. They showed their sons a great example of team, determination and sportsmanship!Side note: Olympia mummas could possibly be the only team in the history of social netball to warm up with a soccer ball! As one mumma said ‘When you live with soccer mad kids there are no netballs to be found!’.Well done Olympia Mummas, no medal this time but you gained much more – the respect from your sons and played with that Warrior spirit! 💙🩵What’s next… social league soccer! 😊
